An experienced accountant with a CPA background and over a decade working in the accounting space, I found a love for entrepreneurship and helping small business owners manage the numbers side of their business.
I have a degree in Accounting from the University of San Diego and began my career in public accounting as an auditor. I spent about 8 years working my way up the corporate ladder serving both public and private clients in a range of industries before joining an accounting software startup.
My mission is to take away the overwhelm & burden that often is associated with the financial side of your business. I want to provide you with confidence and clarity in your numbers (and a little less stress come tax-time). With my hyper-organized and approachable support, you will be empowered to make profit-driven decisions that give you the ultimate financial freedom to live out your “why” for your business.
When I’m not crunching numbers, you can find me spending time with my husband, Thomas, and our two girls, Mila & Nicolette. I'm originally from Southern California, but now call Raleigh, North Carolina home. I like to consider myself an interior design enthusiast - if I hadn’t majored in accounting, I would have loved to pursue interior design. I also enjoy hosting and entertaining with friends and family.

I pride myself on being disciplined in all aspects of my life, both personal and professional. When I say that I will do something, you can expect that I will deliver on that promise. If I ever don’t know the answer to something, you can count on me to either do the research and get back to you with one or provide you with a recommendation of where to find it if it happens to fall outside my scope of work.

I don’t know about you, but I like order in my life. I like to have an up-to-date family calendar, I like an organized house (yet livable, because hello, kids!) and I love a good checklist. Your time is precious, and I’m certainly not here to waste it. I utilize cloud-based accounting software and streamlined systems and processes to complete your bookkeeping. With efficient systems in place, you will have organized, accurate & up-to-date financial data accessible to you at any given moment.
Personal
Money is personal and I hope to ease any anxieties you may have when it comes to the financial side of your business when we work together. I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a business owner… perhaps just like you. While I am an accountant by trade, I like to think I am not what you stereotypically think of when you think accountant. When we speak, you can always expect a friendly face on the other side of the screen.
Collaboration
I'm here to support you as you strive to reach your business’s highest potential. While I will take on the books in your business, there is a level of collaboration that is needed to ensure accuracy. I will have questions to help me better understand your business and you will have questions for me. When tax time rolls around, I am happy to communicate directly with your CPA / tax accountant, and in fact would prefer to as a way to ensure we are accounting for your business in the most advantageous way for your unique business.
